A resident of Tuscaloosa for 28 years and native of Demopolis, Jon chose to raise his family in Tuscaloosa and knows the area well as a business-owner, community figure, husband and father.
As a small business owner working in real estate marketing, Jon had the privilege to work with great agents and firms in Tuscaloosa to market some of the most progressive property developments, including Midtown Village Condominiums, Houndstooth Condominiums, The Legends of Tuscaloosa Condominiums, The Chimes Condominiums, Traditions Condominiums, Crimson Place Condominiums, Riverwalk Condominiums and many others. Prior to real estate marketing, Jon developed strong local relationships and in-depth community knowledge through a decade of serving as local award-winning Meteorologist on local television stations. Then, answering the call to public service, Jon spent 6 years serving as Director of Serve Alabama, a State of Alabama agency created decades ago to promote volunteerism, statewide disaster-preparedness and long term disaster recovery.

Jon and his wife Rebekah have three teenage children, a dog and a cat. Jon enjoys playing golf, especially with his son. He and his family are members of Church of The Highlands.
